Role Summary :
An Endpoint Security Engineer is a critical role responsible for safeguarding an organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats. This position requires a deep understanding of endpoint security technologies, threat landscape, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for protecting sensitive information.
Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, EDR, NDR, XDR, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Configure and maintain endpoint security infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and protection. Monitor endpoint security systems for anomalies, threats, and security incidents. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses. Develop and implement security policies and procedures for end users. Provide training and support to end users on endpoint security best practices. Investigate and respond to security incidents, working closely with the incident response team. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends. Research and evaluate new endpoint security technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
Requirement :
3 – 5 years working experience in information Security. Experience with cloud-based security solutions. Experience with security incident response and forensics. Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, technologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with endpoint security solutions (e.g., antivirus, EDR, NDR, XDR). Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Knowledge of network protocols and security principles.
Certification :
Certifications in endpoint security (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CEH).
