As a global leader in coatings and paints, Hempel is seeking a leader with outstanding integrity and the ability to lead by example to join our Logistics department.

We offer you a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the warehouse operations in Turkey, working alongside our Logistics Manager for South-East Europe and collaborate closely with our factories, warehouses, and teams with varied strengths and departments worldwide.

You can look forward to a stable position that will enable you to:

• Lead all warehouse activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing goods (finished products, tools, and packaging materials).
• Plan and schedule inventory to meet the organization's needs by supervising the ordering of products and assisting in coordinating delivery schedules with shippers and customers.
• Develop and recommend improvements and standard processes to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
• Enhance your team's activities by verifying that they count and use the work-resources optimally and according to the work schedules and targets.
• Ensure all guidelines regarding Health & Safety are followed.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Validated experience as a Warehouse Team Leader is required for this role
• A background in Logistics/Supply Chain education is advantageous.
• Data analysis skills. Academic education in the area would be a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the Dynamic system. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Turkish are required.
