Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

Repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains water and sewer systems to include lawn irrigation, valves, fire hydrants, fittings, pumps, and related equipment associated with water and sewer main systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential areas.
• Study and analyze floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.
• Install/replace pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures associated with internal building water and sewer plumbing systems.
• Repair/install showers, tubs, commodes, urinals, and associated equipment.
• Install/maintain/repair backflow devices.
• Subject to perform emergency call back work and to perform duties on non-normal duty periods or different shifts. 
• Performs duties as laborer, driver, and other duties as required.
• Daily use of hand and power tools associated with electrical and other hand and power tool equipment
• Daily use of hand and power tools associated with Plumbing.
• Work independently
• Uses industrial equipment
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 23 kilos, climbing ladders, working on roofs, extended sitting or standing, and working in normal and adverse weather conditions

Basic Qualifications

• Turkish Citizenship.
• Capable to speak, read, write, and understand English Language “Minimum Level 1”.
• Have a current driver’s license (minimum “B” Class). 
• Fulfilled Turkish Military obligation.
• Technical High School graduate/two-year University Graduate (must possess diploma), Department of Plumbing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Driver’s license (Class G)
• Knowledge and understanding of electrical safety standards and the ability to work safely with electrical components.
• Familiarity with HVAC design, operation, and troubleshooting.
• A recognized certification in plumbing, which may include courses on water supply, drainage, and ventilation systems.

All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor.

All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security clearance/background check.
