BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for Treasury, Tax & Fixed Assets Specialist.
Key Accountabilities
Ensures the controlling and follow-up of treasury situation
Elaborates, transmit-reception and count payment and charges
Carry out short-term treasury forecasts
Submission of the income tax to the tax authority
Preparation monthly VAT reports
Preparation and leading activities for tax returns
Make bank reconciliations
Assures the accordance and proof of invoices: quantity, price, type of payment and expiration date.
Controls and accounts employees expenses registered in the appropriate software for the purpose (Concur)
Responsible for accounting
Manage & review monthly US Gaap closing activities
Perform accounting reportings and analytical review
Prepare statutory annual accounts in TurkishGaap
Liaise with auditors & lead financial statements audit
Actively participate in the SAP transition project
Demonstrate strong understanding of financial accounting systems
Report issues/key transactions to site controller and group accounting team
Education & Experience
Strong experience in treasury is required
Master’s degree in accounting/management/finance is required
Experience in reporting to senior management is preferred
Good knowledge of IFRS, US & Turkish Gaap
Strong tax and VAT expertise is required
SAP ERP System knowledge preferred
Proficient Microsoft Excel user
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English and Turkish is required
