Test Manager for Cloud/Hybrid Solutions and Continuous Quality Expert

Foundational Technology Development Europe Turkey Simulation is a Software R&D Group in Ankara. This group brings together the fields of utility network planning, simulation, analysis and network model management with the PSS® Product Suite (PSS® power system simulation and modeling software). Grid Simulations a focus area which mainly employ new ways throughout the different fields of application in order to build proficient software solutions and products. To accomplish the mission of the group, the candidate will perform both as Test Manager for Cloud/Hybrid Solutions and Continuous Quality Expert.

We are seeking an experienced software development engineer to develop software solutions.

What are my responsibilities?

Working within international software development teams across global,

Collaborate with the agile team to implement quality and compliance measures, define the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.

Continuously assess product quality throughout the development process, identify and mitigate risks early.

Provide an independent verification and validation perspective to ensure the effectiveness of quality measures.

Compile a comprehensive quality assessment to inform release recommendations based on risk analysis.

Assist in defining and tailoring the overarching Lean Agile processes.

Monitor process compliance and ensure audit-proof documentation of quality and release topics.

Initiate and participate in retrospectives to identify and address quality-related impediments.

Assistance regarding design, development, and execution on comprehensive test plans and cases, identify and track defects.

Establish and enforce QA standards, practices, and procedures to maintain high-quality software.

Implement real-time reporting of test results and progress, ensure thorough documentation and transparency.

Promote a culture of testing transparency and visibility, implement feedback loops for continuous improvement.

Participating and proactively contributing to an agile environment according to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) process,

Taking ownerships in Siemens wide organizational roles to support working as One Global Team.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or similar fields),
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in complex software development projects,
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Squish, Cypress, LoadRunner, Podman, JMeter).
• Highly experienced in functional and non-functional testing
• Basic understanding of cloud architecture and technologies (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, APIs, IAM)
• Proven experience in (agile) project management via JIRA/Confluence
• Proven experience and knowledge of process improvement tools, methods, and techniques.
• Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives

Preferable Additional skills/experiences (i.e. is a plus):

• Substantial experience in process/ program/project management or an equivalent operational role.
• Ability to interpret, analyze, and understand complex data sets.
• Expert knowledge in Quality Management & Business Process Management
• Advanced knowledge in Audits Reviews and Assessments
• Advanced knowledge in normative and regulatory driven integrated management systems as well as in standards like ISO9001, ISO27001

What else do I need to know?

• Fluent command of English is a must, German is a plus.
• No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily.
