The Opportunity
This position works at Istanbul location in the Core Diagnostics Division that we’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
What You'll Do
* Act as technical solution provider for an effective and un-interrupted system operation.
* Responsible as a technical specialist in his territory and advanced service support for the first line service providers
* Identify technical support needs in his territory and implement actions proactively with team members.
* Provide best in class solutions and experiences at customer expected level or beyond.
* Establishing good relations with customers, especially laboratory staff
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required. University Degree in Engineering / Electronics or Electrical / Biomedical / Mechanical / Biology or Physics is preferred.
* Min. 4 years experiences in diagnostic industry
* Proven experience record in a technical position, supported by references.
* Customer relationship and communication skills
* Fast engagement to issues; strong task and process management
* Strong interest to analytical tools and software-oriented solutions / practice
* B class driving license. Travel (up to 75%) to provide trainings and instrument installation to customers by providing Abbott training activities.
* Medical Device Sales Advertisement and Promotion Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated May 15th. 2014, and numbered 29001, has clinical support staff certificate.
* Good and experienced in using analytical tools and software
Preferably Six Sigma Calculation, Method Validation and Verification
