Senior Technical Support Engineer-Fire Suppression Systems

What you will do

Senior Technical Support Engineer-Fire Suppression Systems supports sales and growth initiatives in Turkey by providing technical/design support and training services activities for Fire Suppression Systems. The Engineer is in direct contact with customers and/or via first line customer support in our branches. The Technical Support Team collaborates very closely with Sales, global functional teams such as Product Management and aligned with the global Tech Services group.

How you will do

• Provide Technical & Specification Support to Sales Team and Customers
• Support the full product range of Fire Suppression Systems
• Communicate with consultants, designers, project managers, and end users
• Using JCI softwares for hydaraulic calculation and design of Sprinkler Systems, Foam Systems and Gaseous Suppression Systems.
• Provide Design Services and Engineering of typical system solutions
• Provide advice and support projects by applying JCI solutions according international codes & standards (such as NFPA, FM, EN, VdS)
• Project team member for large projects

What we look for

Required

• Good verbal and written command of English
• A bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or similar background through education or experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in designing and engineering Sprinkler systems
• Creation and understanding of piping lay-outs
• Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain relevant technological and business concepts that impact our business
• General knowledge of the Fire Protection Engineering principals and awareness of currents industry trends
• Solid business communication skills, including but not limited style and format of letters, and reports
• Strong, positive interpersonal skills, problem solver
• Presentation skills
• Detail-oriented, particularly with respect to managing customer satisfaction
• Ability to identify need for and develop, processes and supporting materials
• Well-versed in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• REVIT experience is highly desirable
• Willingness to travel
