Today, we are recruiting for a Senior System Manager to join our team in Turkey. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Design, configure, and optimize IP/MPLS, MPLS-TP, and large-scale L2/L3 networks to meet business requirements.
• Plan, implement, and manage Switching & Routing architectures for robust network performance.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault resolution to ensure continuous network operations.
• Manage QoS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and other routing protocols to guarantee network reliability and efficiency.
• Evaluate and support the integration of new technologies such as SD-WAN and Segment Routing to enhance network performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage and optimize carrier-grade IP/MPLS networks and maintain documentation standards.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in designing, configuring, and optimizing IP/MPLS, Routing, and Switching networks.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS VPN, and QoS, with a strong focus on wired communication systems.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and analysis tools like Wireshark, PRTG, and SolarWinds for troubleshooting and network optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Nokia routers/switches, with the ability to apply best practices for configuration and management.
• At least one relevant certification, such as Cisco CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Service Provider, or Nokia NRS II, SRA.
• Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in collaborative environments.
• Proficiency in English at a technical level, both written and verbal.
• Experience in carrier-grade network operations and understanding SDN/NFV technologies.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Python and Ansible to streamline processes and optimize network management.
