🛠 What You Bring 🛠 - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years delivering production code for backend services in an Agile environment.
- Proven experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Golang is a strong plus.
- Expertise in Redis and advanced caching strategies.
- Proficiency with Git, including branching and merging strategies.
- Strong skills in unit/integration testing, mocking, and writing testable code.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and release management
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and refine backend applications, enhancing the quality and efficiency of our system architecture.
- Implement and optimize microservices architecture, ensuring seamless async communication using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Deepen our system's robustness with your expertise in caching mechanisms, particularly Redis.
- Operate confidently within distributed environments, especially AWS EKS, to maintain and scale our services both horizontally and vertically.
- Excel in Node.js development, and show proficiency in NestJS and HapiJS.
- Engage in proactive monitoring, adeptly using tools like NewRelic to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Address technical and application problems with a keen analytical mindset.
- Deploy new releases efficiently, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Bring innovative technology and ideas to the team, influencing cross-team initiatives.
