Role:
Develop and manage a customer portfolio regarding out-of-gauge and breakbulk shipments by Head Office Project Cargo Team, Trade, and the line. Sells products and services related to it, while promoting Group image and values. Contribute to fulfilment of the Commercial Actions Plan by gaining and supporting customer loyalty, developing new traffic through his/her knowledge of the market and/or product, and managing a dedicated customer portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Identify commercial market opportunities and prospects and follow up on customers to develop and monitor the customer’s portfolio.
- To maintain existing customers and find new customers/business opportunities for out-of-gauge and break-bulk cargo
- To perform customer visits on a weekly basis per given targets & commercial action plan and collect customer feedback in the Group system.
- To perform sales call weekly basis as per his/her targets and identify details on CRM system
- Promote and sell all the Group products, non-Maritime products, tools, and services (e-Commerce, intermodal, value added products, value added services, contract logistics and supply chain services etc.) & make sales leads through the CRM system.
- Receive, qualify in priority customers’ requests, in function of their strategic importance, and process their requests.
- Inform her/his customers about all CMA CGM services, updates, and new products on a regular basis.
- Relay quotation requests from her/his customers to headquarters & closely follow up the process.
- Ensure update of commercial data in the information system, try to identify the market, and develop new business.
- Selling to customers the solution best fitted to their needs by phone
- Close cooperation with the HO Project Cargo team in follow-up of the ongoing long-term projects.
- Structure information about competitive rate evolution to enable the line to adapt its commercial policy
- Collect commercial data and customer feedback in Group System
- To follow up break-bulk cargo operational process & to coordinate with respective port pairs/terminals, vendors & vessel operations department (Vessel Planners/Operations managers) if any special handling materials & cranes are required
- To coordinate with agencies & back-office functions (CS/Booking Desks/SSC) for smooth booking/acceptances on partner vessels as well as all parties across the organization to facilitate the smooth handling of all BBK cargoes, from pricing approval to loading and discharging the shipment
