Our Istanbul branch is looking for a new Customer Excellence Specialist to join their Project Logistics team. Our Office location is Basaksehir, Istanbul


Your Role As a National Customer Excellence Specialist, you manage the transport of all orders and ensure that your customers are overall satisfied. HSE and data quality is always at the forefront of the work you do. You are the customer's support by providing information and answering questions while building a trustful partnership with customers, suppliers, colleagues and the business unit (BU). The specialist is responsible for the monitoring & leading of all operational process, documentation, invoicing process and data quality. Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all documentation process and organisation of Ocean, Road, Air and Multi modal shipments are performed in an accurate manner and approach as per Kuehne + Nagel guidelines. 
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times as per high customer satisfaction level.
  • Monitoring the operational performance of all involved parties and report any issues that may occur.
  • Carrying out documentation process and reporting by using company’s systems.
  • Executing the business in line with rates given by ensuring profit maximisation.
  • To maintain an accurate level of data quality. Review daily operational reports and action all required activities on timely
  • Pro-active engagement with other teams (hubs, chartering, engineering, Business Units, etc.) to ensure a smooth transition.
  • To support all divisions in Kuehne + Nagel Project Logistics  (such as Business Development, Pricing).
  • Ensure all operations performed under KN projects Logistics are operated under high standards of Kuehne + Nagel HSSE policies.
  • Make sure the accurate completion of invoicing.
  • Monitor operational performance of all suppliers (including HSE compliance) and implement corrective or preventative actions (and monitor) or/and escalate to management if required.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Min 2+ years freight forwarding experience.
  • Experience in Oversized Cargo Handing is advantageous 
  • Good planning and organisation skills; ability to multitask and be a self-starter.
  • Good understanding of logistics operational systems.
  • Good level of English & Turkish Skills
  • Ability to travel and possession of a valid drivers licence
