Product Owner

Responsibilities:

Platform Development and Management

• Determine and design platform features
• Working with software engineers to resolve platform issues
• Working with design experts to ensure quality design
• Managing platform development projects
• Managing platform release processes
• Analyze and recommend platform revisions
• Platform documentation
• Establish test procedures for quality assurance of finished product
• Create and test product prototypes

Platform Support

• Provide technical support to software users
• Track support issues and review criticality
• Work with sales, product development and customer success, software development teams to prioritize and resolve issues
• Conduct user acceptance tests of solved issues and report feedback
• Support implementation teams in performance analysis and enhancements
• Develop knowledge bases and FAQs for platform support activities
• Document support activities, software user issues and resolutions for reference purposes
• Follow and improve support policies and procedures
• Record software user suggestions, change requests and technical requirements
• Installation and configuration of platform software

Platform Training - Employee and Partner

• Train new hires for specific platform applications, technologies and procedures
• Conduct orientation sessions to new hires
• Train partners for specific platform applications
• Plan annual refresher courses for all staff members
• Prepare and maintain training materials
• Develop, plan, organize, conduct and evaluate training programs
• Support new hire assessment session

Product Management with Business Units

• Product roadmap alignment with business units
• Technical design support and acceptance coordination
• Product development progress tracking and alignment
• Functional / internal UAT tests
• Product artifact handover to business units

Support R&D Incentive Projects

Support sales and marketing activities with product perspective

Qualifications:

Required:

• B.Sc. Degree in Engineering from a reputable university, M.Sc. is preferred
• Fluent in English
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and design skills
• Extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals

 Preferred:

• Software product development experience
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python
• Exposure to relational databases
• Familiarity with algorithmic complexity and data structures
• Familiarity with decision making/planning concepts/solutions
• Familiarity with scheduling/optimization modeling/data analytics
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
