Our Engineering department is the dynamic powerhouse behind Adjust's cutting-edge technologies. Through seamless collaboration with our Product and Support teams, we transform concepts into tangible, customer-centric solutions with a strong sense of ownership and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Make an Impact/ The role:

As a Platform Engineer, you will take ownership in wrapping up the decentralisation of our infrastructure over various locations whilst continuously scale it. At the same time, you will make sure that our servers run smoothly and at their highest efficiency. You will work closely with our development and marketing teams to address their needs and scale out the infrastructure of our attribution pipeline and related technologies. In addition, you will continuously look for improvements, take on call shifts and execute solutions following your automation drive. With your strong Kubernetes, Haproxy, and/or Nginx knowledge you will  help us build more self-service offerings for our feature teams.  

 

Empower Your Potential/ Responsibilities: 

• Design, build, code and run services like Kubernetes on bare metal, HAproxy, Postgres 
• Supporting our highly customized and specialized environment
• Scaling our infrastructure across various Data centers
• Collaborate with software engineers and our platform team to establish processes that reduce overhead for rolling out new services, while updating existing services
• Ensuring the highest efficiency of our servers running things like Postgres, Redis and Kafka to name a few.
• Work closely with the development and marketing teams

 

Bring Your Knowledge/ Experience & Qualifications: 

• If you can fix a Kernel Panic while playing ping pong with the team, you have great chances to be one of us.
• Passion about Linux so extreme that you call your cat Monsieur Torvald
• Proven track record of fixing and improving customized scripts and software 
• You need to be smart and lazy enough to be able to build automation scripts which will work out in the long run… or do you really want to do that manually? Again?
• Experience in a large and complex environment of more than 1300 services running on bare metal
• Experience with monitoring, metrics and alerting processes
• Experience with Configuration Management, such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• Great team player who loves to share knowledge and support colleagues within the team and the company
