We are looking for an Planning Supervisor to join our team in Kocaeli, Türkiye. Your Responsibilities: To check whether vessel berthings are realized as planned, to take/ensure that corrective/developmental actions are taken when necessary. To plan and report in a standard that fully meets commercial obligations and fully meets the quality and expectations of terminal customers. To ensure that IMDG criteria are followed in the field and on the vessel, to monitor the stacking safety of the relevant containers, to take responsibility for temporary measures and planning to prevent possible accidents and to ensure that they are organized/planned accordingly. Liaise with the liners local representatives on all planning matters (vessel stability, receipt and delivery of information, dangerous cargo, special stowage, outages, etc.) Continuously seek to improve the performance of the planning function by developing new techniques, researching new methods and following industry best practices, and particularly by sharing experiences with other terminals in the DP World group. Comply with and ensure the implementation of Fatal Risk Standards, Occupational health and safety and safe working practices. To communicate with customers in order to fulfil customer service commitments, to ensure that requests regarding vessels arriving at the terminal are received from customers, requests are entered into the system and berthing plans are made, to inform the Planning and Gate Manager when necessary, to direct Planning Supervisors for the implementation of the planned operation. To ensure coordination with CFS, Ship Operations Executives and Customer Service Executives. Your Profile: Bachelor's degree (Bachelor's degree from a maritime related department is preferred) Previous experience in planning in a Port/Terminal environment. Able to use planning/TOS systems effectively; (Zodiac system experience is preferred); Able to use MS Office programs; Experience in personnel management and supervisory experience is an advantage. Fluent language skills Turkish and English. Flexible with the ability to work shifts and overtime as needed. Have strong communication skills.
