As a Marketing Manager, you will be accountable for leading Product Managers and also a Sales Analyst within the team to set marketing strategy for the Business Units and achieve agreed brand financial targets, taking full ownership of product strategy, driving requirements for high-quality offerings that deliver significant value to customers and patients. You will act as a key interface for the Marketing function, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for all the marketing efforts of the business line by managing all aspects of brand development initiatives in Turkey. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Lead the development of the annual marketing investment plans outlining key activities and programs that address agreed strategic imperatives for the brand
Execute marketing plan within agreed timelines and budgets
Active and strategic member of the Surgical Leadership Team
Identify and leverage consumer insight to drive differentiation and growth for defined brands
Evaluate research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed
Lead the annual strategic planning process, defining strategic imperatives for the portfolio/brands thus achieving agreed growth and financial targets
Responsible for the lifecycle of specific products in the portfolio, ensuring marketing support that will facilitate achievement of sales objectives
Represent Turkey in the International Marketing Group, shaping and influencing centrally developed materials to meet local market needs
Collaborate with sales, market access, regulatory, finance and other functions so all key stakeholders understand and are able to deliver the marketing plan
Ensure compliance with the industry code of practices and internal compliance requirements
Coach the team members to develop and succeed in current and future roles
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in pharma/Medical Device industry.
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
Bachelor´s Degree
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Ophthalmology background is nice to have
Customer-oriented personality with strong planning and organisational skills
High level of problem-solving skills and learning agility
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a track record of influencing internal and external stakeholders at various levels in a crossfunctional environment
Strategic thinker with the ability to set product vision
Excellent communication and presentation skills
No restriction to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license
