Job Description Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical long-term Finance Intern to join our Business Planning and Analysis team. You will be closely working with the team to assist in financial analysis, month-end closing process, reporting, and financial planning. Assist in preparing accurate, timely financial reports, including monthly personnel cost and headcount reports to allow the team to track month-end results.
Support the team in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Work on ad hoc financial projects as directed by the manager or senior team members.
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
Strong analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc).
Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Interest in financial planning and strategy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Please note this is a long-term internship lasting 6-12 months. Applicants must receive academic credit for the internship, and it is highly desired that candidates are willing and able to commit to full-time hours. Note: Prior experience in a financial role is not required but would be highly beneficial. Skills Desired
