Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Management Engineer, Automotive Engineer
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Having effective communication skills and high individual motivation
- Open to innovations and learning, high persuasion skills
- Prone to responsible, creative, and dynamic teamwork
- Advanced level of English
- Candidates must have driving license
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications
Job Description:
- Playing a key role in managing supply chain processes between suppliers and Ford Otosan.
- Working in coordination with Ford Otosan and Ford Europe related departments in order to supply the materials used in Ford Otosan manufacturing from domestic/foreign supply.
- Creating action plans for import suppliers with capacity-related constraints in Ford Europe and Ford Otosan.
- Managing material allocation for Ford Otosan factories until the constraint is resolved.
- Identifying supplier-related problems that may cause disruptions in the supply chain and suppliers' chronic balance ship problems.
- Creating action plans and measures, ensuring coordination with relevant departments.
- Analyzing the risk in Tier 1 suppliers and suppliers affected by a regional/global risk, to create plans to eliminate supply disruptions between Tier 1 and Tier N.
- Implementing anticipated/dispersed risks situation to plan and prepare preventative measures against these risks.
- With the company strategies, temporary production increase or production change plans as well.
- Preventing risks in all processes and critical disruptions, coming up with B/D if production loss is in place.
- Creating Emergency Action Plans in critical supply disruptions including such as Christmas/Shut down due to regional and periodic differences.
- Following up the signed documents which are needed from the suppliers for the system and taking action plans against probable risk factors.
- Monitoring the new projects’ suppliers, identifying the problems that will prevent the shipment of parts, preparing action plans to prevent them before launching a new project.
