We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Lead Country legal team at Siemens Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. This role will serve as a trusted Legal Business Partner, providing strategic legal guidance to support our business operations.
What part will you play?
- Deliver comprehensive, business-oriented legal counsel to business units and corporate departments, with a focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents.
- Oversee project-specific authorization limits, ensuring effective management of contractual risks.
- Lead dispute resolution, including managing litigation and claims, to mitigate legal risks and optimize business opportunities.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of external legal counsel.
- Facilitate and provide internal legal training to enhance legal awareness within the organization.
- Collaborate with Siemens’ legal teams at headquarters and across our regional entities.
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates and legal training materials.
- Remain abreast of legal developments in Turkey and provide timely updates and advice on implications for the business.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Fully qualified lawyer, admitted to one of the bars in Tuerkiye, with exemplary academic credentials.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position, gained in a leading law firm or within an in-house legal department, preferably in the smart infrastructure or digital industries.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to partner with business stakeholders to navigate complex legal matters throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
- A collaborative team player with a commercial mindset and an adaptable, collegial approach.
