Tasks and Responsibilities
Application Migration and IT Strategy Alignment:
- Assist in migrating local applications to group-standard solutions.
- Propose solutions aligned with the IT strategy, long-range planning, and budget considerations.
Project Management:
- Lead IT projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure operational requirements are met, systems are adopted by local organizations, and value is added.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery:
- Develop and implement plans for the continuity and recovery of IT infrastructure and systems.
- Support the validation and maintenance of GxP-relevant systems.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Manage relationships with local, regional, and global IT stakeholders.
- Shape business requirements and translate them into system solutions and process enhancements.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring adherence to IT standards and methodologies.
- Coordinate and resolve technical queries, incidents, and escalations with relevant technology teams.
Technology and Infrastructure Management:
- Manage network design, communication rooms, and on-site inventories.
- Plan and execute infrastructure-related projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and replacements.
Vendor and Helpdesk Management:
- Manage IT vendors, participate in contract negotiations, and oversee service agreements.
- Supervise and support helpdesk staff, ensuring SLA adherence and escalation handling.
Leadership and Communication:
- Act as a deputy to the Operations Manufacturing Manager.
- Present IT updates and initiatives to senior leadership teams.
- Lead the team effectively and ensuring knowledge of ISO27001 applied.
Support and Flexibility:
- Provide hands-on support for urgent IT needs, including 24x7 availability when necessary.
- Serve as an infrastructure manager with a strong understanding of application working logic.
