Job Description:
International Division (InDi), is in Royal Canin the unit dedicated to the development of sales worldwide through a network of importers (80 markets, 120 million € NSV/year, 6 factories)
International Division has a clear transformation project to accelerate and develop local business through the creation of 4 Hubs across the globe.
The team includes Hub Managers and support functions as Corporate Affairs, Marketing (Demand), Supply Chain, P&O and Finance. As part of the HUB team, Health Affairs Specialist position will be a major co-pilot of the HUB accelerated growth. Acting as a demand co-pilot, the role assists the HUB Team in business development missions.

Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, Bachelor of Veterinary Science or Master degree
In clinic experience is a plus
Veterinary Industry Experience desirable
Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
Pack office
Ability to work alone supervision but also able to function well as a team player
Sales experience is a plus
Evidence of external veterinary and scientific networks is a plus
In line with InDi CA & HA strategy and meeting the needs of the local market priorities, driving brand reputation and sales ambition.
Create a local strategy for Health Affairs based on INDI Health Affairs directives and local adaptation based on priorities of the local unit
Internal/External Training and Education:
Training and empowerment internal and external stakeholders with technical/scientific and product information in the light of Category Story – Ex. Veterinarians, breeders, University, distributor’s team, new comers...)
Translation and localization of scientific printed and digital materials and well as training content (e-learnings, webinars…)
Keep up to date with all products launches and veterinary/scientific information (through continuing education) needed for the role.
Develop partnership and a Vet student Ambassador program with all the Vet Universities of the perimeter.
Serve as scientific spokesperson as required
Provide technical/product support and represent Royal Canin at local conferences/exhibitions/ Congresses.
Serve as scientific spokesperson with scientific and trade media as required
Cross-functional collaboration and support:
Support consumer care teams with veterinary/product quality issues/issues management as required
collaborate closely with the critical stakeholders including International Division and International Division Health Affairs Team, and local teams including the ones from the distributor.
Provide technical/product support to key areas of the business including Consumer Care, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing/Sales/Digital teams and support potential local crisis
Support marketing/sales and digital teams during product launches/product focusses providing training and technical materials as required
