The OIC Arbitration Centre, a leading international dispute resolution centre serving the 57 OIC member countries and beyond, is seeking a highly skilled Head of Finance and Human Resources to join our dynamic team in Istanbul, Türkiye. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a solid background in financial advisory and human resource management. The role entails dual responsibility for overseeing both financial and human resource functions within the Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Oversee the financial operations of the Centre, ensuring compliance with both Turkish and international finance regulations.
▪ Provide expert financial advice to the management team, contributing to the strategic planning and decision-making processes.
▪ Manage financial planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting with precision and foresight. ▪ Lead and oversee human resource management, including recruitments, staff development, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
▪ Lead and mentor a team of administrative professionals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
▪ A professional qualification in financial advisory recognized in Türkiye and possessing the certified accountant's licence (SMMM licence)
▪ Possessing additional certifications such as CPA, ACCA is preferable
▪ At least 10 years of experience in a financial role with a minimum of 5 years in a human resources and managerial capacity
▪ Proven experience in human resource management, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
▪ Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
▪ Strong understanding of international finance and experience in arbitration or legal financial management is highly desirable
▪ Excellent command of both Turkish and English, with additional languages being an asset.
▪ Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
