Job Description
  • Plan, manage, and oversee all import and export operations, addressing challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate customs, transportation, and logistics processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Perform cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on international trade laws and regulations to ensure company compliance and operational efficiency.
  • By being in close contact with sales / production departments and customer as a section manager.
  • Leading the foreign trade operations team for sales locations.as well as AEO compatibility
  • Controlling and auditing of completed customs processes
  • Determination and cross checking of commodity codes and update ERP system
  • Following Legal correspondence and section KPIs and prepare necessary processes, process improvements and improvements
  • Following temporary import and export process to be completed on time
  • On boarding, broadening the content and following all steps of inward processing authorization certificate
  • Following and sharing of legal regulations and assuring the implementation
  • Following,controlling and performing AEO processes and support related logistics tenders from foreign trade point of view in all legal entities in responsibility area
  • Preparing yearly activity and audit report in scope of AEO, ISO (9001, 27001 etc.)
  • Following and providing warrant of attorney expiration and also POA from the legal entities
  • Following KPIs and reporting
  • Process improvement, saving and digitization activities
  • Risk management on foreign trade processes in the region
  • Collaboration with related operational departments (Accounting, Logistics, Tax, Purchasing, Customs brokers etc.)

Qualifications
  • Deep experience in foreign trade operations and law
  • Proven track record in managing and leading teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in English at a professional level (knowledge of a second foreign language as German is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to make data-driven strategic decisions.
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups. i.e. Be an interface and engage with challenging internal customers and international suppliers in a constructive manner and on legal requirements basis at all levels
  • Structured approach, result orientation and having great organizational skills.
  • Leading others: i.e. high people focus, collaborative and conflict resolution skills- Analytical thinking with data analysis capability
  • Working ability at SAP and Ms. Office also automation tools
  • Project management and tracing
  • Good English knowledge, written and verbal
