Role Overview:
Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Financial Controlling Manager to lead its financial operations. This key leadership role will oversee all financial activities, drive strategic planning, and ensure the company's overall financial health and managerial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and R&D incentive programs and strong leadership skills in managing teams. The direct report will be to the CFO in the AAPAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee accounting, budgeting, and forecasting and ensure accurate GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial reporting. Lead the annual audit process and manage external auditors.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor variances, and recommend cost control measures.
• Cash Flow Management: Ensure liquidity by effectively managing accounts receivable/payable and monitoring cash flow.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement robust internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights to support long-term planning and strategy development
• R&D Incentive Programs: Manage the company’s R&D incentive programs, ensuring compliance and maximizing benefits.
• Tax Management: Coordinate with external advisors for tax compliance and develop strategies to minimize liabilities.
• This is a management-level role that functions as an Individual Contributor. While it holds significant strategic importance and decision-making responsibilities, the position does not involve direct team management or supervisory duties. Instead, the focus is on leading through expertise, collaboration, and influence.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proven experience managing R&D Incentive Programs.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
