Finance Director

We are looking for a Finance Director who will be responsible from finance, accounting and budgeting departments.

Description

• Responsible for the financial planning & budgeting process of the Turkish business unit based on macro-economic assumptions (inflation/indexation, minimum wage changes, FX, etc).
• Preparation and analysis of the quarterly financial reports in compliance with the Company's reporting standards and accounting procedures (IFRS).
• Assuring full compliance of charts of accounts and booking concepts with local and group requirements.
• Preparation of financial reports within the framework of the local laws and regulations and approval thereof (financial statements, tax declarations, etc.).
• Coordinating service charge calculations, audit and tenant communication.
• Coordinating monthly KPI reporting.
• Coordinating all local tax declaration cycles in a timely and accurate way compliant with local tax law and regulations.
• Supporting tax planning initiatives and tax (re)structuring in coordination with the tax director of the Group, reporting of the tax issues in a timely manner and ensuring the compliance thereof with the tax laws and regulations.
• Performing risk management by establishing and maintaining the accurate management of the financial control systems and internal controls.
• Manage financial aspects of litigation processes.
• Examination of financial documents related with the offers for the purchasing goods and services and/or disposal of companies/fixed assets in terms of the internal controls and Company's accounting procedures and provide recommendations.
• Planning of the cash flow by working in coordination with the treasury management of the Group, management of the working capital (collection of receivables), performance of the foreign currency and exchange rate exposure management and cash management.
• Manage financial communications with third parties and/or external stakeholders.

Profile

• Graduation from business management, economy or relevant departments of the universities
• Knowledge and experience of local GAAP and local tax declarations
• Experience of at least 5 years in a corporate firm
• Possession of the managerial qualifications
• Knowledge of IFRS and preferably holder of CPA
• Strong human relations and communication
• Knowledge of advanced English
• Competent in MS Office applications
