TheFinance Clerk / Jr. Accountant is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Finance with the efficient operation of all finance related tasks at the propertyThis individual will understand the value of high integrity, critical thinking, and take pride in precision. A passion for finance and accounting, a keen eye for detail, and an understanding of financial importance will create a successful candidate for this role.



TASKS



  • Understand and possess a good knowledge of Accounting & Finance.



  • Contribute to the monthly financial reporting by preparing accruals and journal entries in the Accounting System in accordance withgenerally accepted accounting principles.



  • Maintain and process a full-cycle accounts payable process including purchase order approval, invoice coding and processing of payment.



  • Ensure correct classification of all revenues and expenses.



  • Generate monthly, quarterly or annual homeowner assessment statements and send out accurately and in a timely manner as determined by ADOF.



  • Communicate effectively and accurately with homeowners and designated representatives on all HOA billing questions, with support from ADOF as needed.



  • Collect/Audit paperwork for all expenses from all departments in the property ensuring accuracy and compliance with Four Seasons’ Internal Controls and local property polices.



  • Complete bank reconciliation processes, to include depositing checks, initiating wirepayments and depositing any cash.



  • Work as the liaison between People & Culture and ADOF with regards to the functions of Income Audit, Accounts Payable and Reconciliation. Additionally, responsible for assisting with month end process and maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.



  • Review all employee timecards on a daily basis, ensure all hours are accurately recorded within the payroll cycle.



  • Responsible for performing with accuracy and timeliness, all accounting and financial reporting for the property.   



  • Provide administrative support to ADOF and Director of Residences, to includeAR, homeowner documents, association contracts, certificates of insurance, and request updated documents from homeowners, vendors and employees as required.



  • Have a working knowledge of all areas in Finance to ensure that coverage can be provided for employees on vacation or leaveand to support the finance team when needed.




  • Complete any special projects assigned by management to improve the operation



ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Maintain harmonious and professional relationship with all departments and Hotel Support Team consisting of the Sr. Director of Finance, Purchasing and People & Culture teams.



  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth inEmPact



  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to relate to all levels of staff.



  • Complete all other administrative duties as delegated by the Residential Leadership Team in a timely and accurate manner.



  • Respond properly inany residence’s emergency or safety situation.



  • Assist the Assistant Director of Finance & Director of Residences in annual budget process, completing all tasks as directed.



SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES



  • 1-2 years previous experience working in an accounting or finance role. Hospitality experience is preferred.



  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience preferred.



  • Fluent in Turkish and English, written and verbal



  • Strong attention to detail.




  • Working knowledge of hotel systems and operations preferred.



  • Strong computer skills and excel knowledge.



  • Highest level of integrity and transparency.



  • Experience inSun preferred.
