Job Overview & Purpose 


This position is part of the growing Sales and Marketing team in charge of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.  The successful person will be responsible for executing DTC sales strategies and generating candidate leads through offline and online marketing activities. This is a very varied position that requires initiative, independent working and be a motivated self-starter. If you have a marketing background within a sales function combined with fluent English & Turkish language skills – this could be a great challenging role for you! 


Accountabilities 


Consumer engagement


  • Develop and implement consumer marketing strategies aimed at increasing candidate leads for Cochlear.  Strategies include but are not limited to executing candidate events and developing candidate support for clinics and distributors as well as generating leads through online activities.
  • Increase candidate conversions and mentoring candidate leads through the hearing journey by providing resources, accurate information, and guidance in a proactive manner.
  • Take lead responsibility in distributors with candidate identification, regular distributor follow-up, distributor awareness and educational events.
  • Collaborative work with Event Specialist for all candidate-facing events including planning, logistics and management of the leads.
  • Responsible for general awareness and education on candidacy criteria for Cochlear implantable technology also to the following: educators, teachers, pathologists, early interventionists, and teachers of the deaf.
  • Ensure that the candidate engagement process is compliant & consistent regarding all legal requirements e.g. privacy, data protection, compliance, and use of best practices. 
  • Follow up on candidate leads via website/F2F and direct to appropriate ENT/Clinic or supported in the channel and customer experience pathway.

Minimum Key Incumbent Requirements 


Required Skills


Minimum:


  • Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Development or Audiology
  • Fluent in English.
  • MS Office (advanced).
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Affinity to numbers.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication/social and relationship building skills.
  • Must administer a range of topics/activities in parallel (ability to multitask).
  • Must evidence the ability to engage and manage relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.  

Ideal:


  • Advanced/further education in commercial, sales/marketing field (B.Sc., M.A.) 
  • Salesforce CRM and Marketo or similar system exposure.
  • Experience in life sciences sector.
