Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of solar power projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and components of solar power plants, ensuring they meet design specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements. Depending on the project, presence at a different location may be necessary.



  • Manage the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV modules, inverters, transformers, and electrical distribution systems
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to installation crews to ensure proper wiring, grounding, and integration of electrical components
  • Analyze site conditions, grid interconnection requirements, and local electrical codes to optimize the design and installation of the solar power plant's electrical infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the project management team to develop installation plans, schedules, and quality control procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the construction and commissioning phases
  • Conduct performance testing and inspections to verify the functionality and safety of the installed electrical systems
  • Document all installation activities, test results, and as-built conditions in detailed reports
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to the local operations and maintenance teams
  • Travel to project sites as needed to oversee and support the electrical installation work
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field
  • 3-5 years of experience working on solar power or renewable energy projects, with a focus on electrical systems. Experience working on large-scale, utility-grade solar projects
  • Demonstrated expertise in the design, installation, and commissioning of solar PV electrical systems, including inverters, transformers, and grid interconnection
  • Knowledge of solar resource assessment, energy modeling, and performance optimization
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and technical manuals 
  • Familiarity with construction management, project scheduling, and quality control processes
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in additional languages is an asset
  • Willingness to travel internationally to project sites and work on-site for extended periods
  • Highly motivated teams in a national and international environment, with exciting and varied tasks around regional projects
