EHS Specialist - Gebze

Our company is a leading multinational production company in the FMCG/Chemical sector, and we are currently seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety Specialist.

Requirements:

• University degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering
• Preferably 2-3 years of experience in a chemical production plant
• Fluent in English
• Good knowledge of PC and MS Office applications
• B Class Safety Certificate is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
• Self-motivated team player
• Strong problem-solving and result-oriented skills
• Resident in Istanbul Anatolia or Izmit
• No military obligation for male candidates

Job Description: The Environment, Health, and Safety Specialist is responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of Environment, Health, and Safety issues within the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordination of meetings, documentation, and updates for ISO 14001; implementation of the Environment Management System
• Coordination of meetings, documentation, and updates for ISO 45001; implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Updating Health and Safety instructions according to global and local regulations
• Identifying training needs for global and local procedures and fulfilling these needs
• Preparing legal declarations and reports for global EHS KPIs
• Conducting monthly EHS meetings
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines
