II - Who We Are Looking For?
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, with a strong analytical mindset and a dynamic approach to problem-solving. This role requires expertise in managing network, system, and data security, as well as a deep understanding of security solutions and tools.
III - What Will Be Your Responsibilities?
(i) Ensure the security of the company's network, systems, and data by implementing and maintaining robust security measures, conducting regular security assessments, and enforcing security policies and procedures. (ii) Identify and close security vulnerabilities by performing thorough security audits and penetration testing, developing and implementing remediation plans, and staying updated with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. (iii) Manage security solutions such as firewalls, antivirus systems, and other security tools, ensuring their effective operation and maintenance, and integrating them into the existing infrastructure. (iv) Continuously monitor and analyze cybersecurity threats using security information and event management (SIEM) systems, analyzing security logs and alerts, and maintaining threat intelligence feeds. (v) Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents by developing and maintaining incident response plans, conducting post-incident analysis, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. (vi) Provide cybersecurity training to employees by developing and delivering cybersecurity awareness programs, conducting regular training sessions, and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization. (vii) Develop and update security policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective security practices, regularly reviewing and updating policies to align with evolving security standards and regulations. (viii) Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies by identifying and evaluating potential security risks, implementing risk mitigation measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. (ix) Participate in internal and external security audits and prepare reports by assisting in the preparation and conduct of audits, documenting findings, and working with audit teams to address and resolve identified issues.
IV - What Is Required from You?
(i) Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master's or PhD degree is a significant plus and will be highly valued. (ii) Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the cybersecurity field, with a proven track record of successfully managing and implementing security solutions and strategies. (iii) Expertise: Extensive experience with a variety of security solutions, including firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), data loss prevention (DLP), web application firewalls (WAF), antivirus systems (AV), endpoint detection and response (EDR), privileged access management (PAM), security information and event management (SIEM), and mail gateways. (iv) Knowledge: Proficiency in a wide range of cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM systems, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools. Understanding of security protocols and standards is essential. (v) Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are crucial. You should be able to identify and address complex security issues effectively. Excellent team collaboration and communication skills are required to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. (vi) Certifications: Preferably, you should hold recognized cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certifications. These certifications demonstrate your commitment to the field and your expertise in cybersecurity.
