Credit & Treasury Accountant (Six months fixed term role)

Job Description:

Role Responsibilities:

• As an Credit & Treasury Accountant, you will:

• Reconcile accounts. Monitor and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and process payments (checks, wire transfers, and ACH).

• Ensure all payments are made according to company policies and payment terms.

• Responsible for credit risk assessment for New / Existing customers periodically andregular updates on customer credit files.

• Maintain credit limit process and escalation process, ensuring releases afterapprovals

• Report outstanding balances and overdues.

• Responsible for monthly reporting to treasury and business, as well as constant andpro-active communication with the business regarding specific overdue and creditrisks.

• Responsible for daily follow-up with customers for overdue collection to accomplishthe monthly collections target

• Responsible for full compliance with credit policy and SOX & maintain keyperformance indicators according to goals.

Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for experienced candidates with excellent communication skills and a solution focused approach.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree in finance/ accounting

• At least 5+ years relevant experience in accounting.

• Ability to communicate (read& write) in English (intermediate level)

• Proven ability to perform financial statement analysis and recommend credit limits.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience (FI) preferred.

• Must have a high level of initiative and be goal driven

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills

The role is based at our Tuzla site and five days working from office (not remote)
