• Responsibility for the development and implementation of defined global part family strategies in our own material field of milled parts, taking into account the strategy of the business unit
• Coordination of part family strategies with all relevant stakeholders including the upper management (regions, logistics, quality, purchasing engineering, business units)
• Selection, support and development of international suppliers in our own material field of milled parts
• Planning and conducting relevant contract negotiations in an international context
• Within agreed targets and processes, you will develop appropriate measures and negotiation strategies to achieve them
• You will then be responsible for systemic implementation and controlling for your area of responsibility
• Creating portfolio analyses and identifying areas for action and potential savings
• Safeguarding the growth strategy by creating transparency regarding capacities and defining measures to expand capacities as well as introducing measures to avoid risks.

• Completed studies in the field of business administration, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering
• At least 3 years of work experience in purchasing desirable, preferable in commodity purchasing
• Good technical knowledge and experience in an industrial environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in an international context
• Enthusiasm for working in an international team for a global company
• High level of initiative and self responsibility
• Assertiveness and persuasiveness, also towards higher management and important personalities at suppliers
• High Flexibility & Willingness to travel
• Very good English skill mendatory, German desireable
