Description
Ensuring full IFRS compliance according to Group guidelines
- Drive month-end close process and financial reporting process of legal entities, Timely and accurate financial reports (MFR), Compliant and adherence to Group guidelines
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Items on a regular basis. Validate employee-related accounts including payroll and other provisions. Review and verify claims of Agents - Rebates, Discounts, Commissions and other 3rd party claims
Implementation of new accounting requirements, technical set-up and taking care of adherence (IFRS)
Ensuring Turkish GAAP compliance
Implementation of new accounting requirements, technical set-up and taking care of adherence (Turkish GAAP)
Driving & guiding internal and external Finance related audits
- Liaise in internal and external during conduct of audits
- Being a main contact in the all the audit process
Management of Shared service center Finance interfaces
- Ongoing review of process maps and gap analysis to ensure alignment with the company policy and streamline the process
- Regular review internal AP process for improvements and drive in maintaining company's KPIs
BU Business Partnering & support of other Sus
- Ensures compliance to group treasury and cash policies
- Align with banks, arrange and review business requests related to Bank Guarantees. Prepare a monthly Cash flow through TIP system and coordinate with responsible stakeholders to verify the data
Ensures that appropriate Internal controls over Financial reporting framework is in place and well maintained
- Review of process through self-assessment, update of key control and regular of monitoring of such process
Supports M&A projects and other strategic projects from accounting perspective
Supports in Tax Matters
- Takes care of Turkish tax reporting and filings (potentially using 3rd parties), Timely submission of VAT reporting and all taxes, Regular review for Turkish tax regulation to ensure compliance
Asset Process
- Having responsibility in the asset process
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum 8-9 years of experience in general accounting, tax accounting roles
- SAP FI, CO experience
- Knowledge of IFRS, Turkish tax regulations
- CPA license (SMMM)
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Fluent in both spoken and written Turkish & English is a must
