Alzheimer's Ecosystem Manager
As an Alzheimer's Disease Ecosystem Manager (AEM), you will be the interface between our most important customers in the therapeutic area of Alzheimer's and all relevant functions and management at Lilly. You act on an equal footing in both directions and, together with our customers, improve patient care through innovative and creative approaches. You will work in a strong cross-functional team integrated into Sales, Marketing, Medical, and External Engagement and control the planning and implementation of activities in the accounts for Alzheimer's disease.
Main Responsibilities:
- Map and design the ecosystem in the field of Alzheimer's disease (focus on key accounts, their diagnostic environment and the referring physician network around them)
- Record and document the ecosystems for diagnosis and therapy in the field of Alzheimer's in the sense of a patient flow (from patient identification to therapy monitoring) (e.g., stakeholder diagnosis & therapy, skills and capacity for CSF, PET and MRI, referral networks including hospitals, specialists in private practice and general practitioners).
- Design diagnostic algorithms, therapy paths and protocols for the patient flow in the key accounts including referral channels (for diagnostics including topics such as anamnesis, cognition measurement, MRI, CSF and PET; for therapy including topics such as infusion capacities and monitoring).
- In case of bottlenecks in infusion capacity, work with vendors to develop local solutions and services.
- Develop and manage partnerships: Responsible for local partnerships to improve the respective ecosystem (e.g., with providers in the field of PET tracers, blood diagnostics and CSF, incl. laboratory).
- Adapt corporate strategies to local conditions and address supply and logistical challenges in key centers by collaborating with relevant healthcare professionals and organizations.
- Customers:
- Build and expand sustainable and resilient relationships with the most important organized clients of a therapeutic area.
- Ensure the optimal use of Lilly products in the therapeutic area of Alzheimer's disease and proactively identify and implement opportunities to increase their use.
- Structured identification of customer needs and introduction of customer insights and corresponding value solutions into customer planning and strategy development
- Work closely with clients to develop innovative projects and value-added programs that combine the client's needs, improving patient care, and Lilly's strategic interests in this therapeutic area.
Skills & Expertise:
- Good understanding of developments in the healthcare market and healthcare policy and their impact on customers.
- Deep understanding of structures and processes in the therapeutic area of neurology/Alzheimer's disease, with a special focus on hospitals, medical care centers and network structures.
- Deep understanding of the processes and interrelationships in complex customer structures that influence the decision on the use of pharmaceuticals.
- Sovereignty in dealing with and communication at senior management level, both internally and externally.
- Strong business acumen and focus on results with a high degree of initiative, perseverance and a positive mindset
- Strong ability to holistically penetrate and structure complex organized structures and personnel contexts.
- Strong analytical skills with strong problem-solving skills
- Above-average ability to navigate and successfully implement complex projects through coordination processes with internal stakeholders.

Experience Required:
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales/marketing role in the pharmaceutical or biomedical or medical technology industry with responsibility for hospitals and other organized customer groups or comparable experience.
- Proven ability for successful lateral leadership of cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to successfully execute large projects with internal stakeholders and clients from planning to implementation.
- Fluent in English
Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree/diploma in pharmacy, life sciences, business administration, marketing or other relevant fields.
