Embark on an enriching journey as a Accounts Receivable Executive at Reckitt - a role that offers more than just numbers. The role will primarily be a team member in Accounts Receivables (AR) to achieve optimum performances in the areas of AR transaction processing and accounting, AR reporting and credit risk monitoring. The role will also monitor the implementation of OTC related internal control and business compliance standards. This role comes with an initial contract period of 8 months, with the possibility of a short extension.
In summary, you'll:
1. Works closely with Sales Finance / Sales / Customer Service team to address order processing concerns related to overdue AR, payment.
2. Ensures reconciliation of AR.
3. Performs monthly reconciliation of A/R subsidiary ledger records with the controlling general ledger account and investigates any variance.
4. Issue collection and follow-up letters to trade accounts and adhere to escalation process, as needed.
5. Provides regular monthly reports on AR.
6. Performs analysis of AR for the monthly Balance Sheet review and quarterly flux analysis and AR movement.
7.Implement Other Internal Control and Business Compliance Standards
8. Credit Risk Monitoring
9.Working knowledge of ERP systems and the Accounts Receivable function as well as foundational understanding of debits and credits as they relate to Accounts Receivable.
- Professional finance or accounting certification, backing your industry knowledge with formal qualifications.
- 2-3 years of experience within the finance industry, preferably in A/R.
-Strong mechanical skills and computer skills utilizing common software tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint is desired.
- A firm understanding of financial statements including AR, OTC(Order to Cash).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, navigating stakeholder relationships with ease.
Budgeting & Forecasting, Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, Financial analysis and reporting.
