Accounting Intern Department: Finance Employment Type: Internship Location: EMEA-Turkey Reporting To: Finance Manager Description As Accounting Intern, you will support day-to-day financial tasks and assist with accounting operations. You will report to the Finance Manager and be part of our dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced global team that is driving growth and efficiency in finance. Role expectations
Support with administrative tasks related to finance and accounting functions.
Booking all the journal accounting activities in the ERP system (purchase & sales invoices, bank movements, import & export files, employee travel expense reports etc.)
Support AP/AR Reconciliations
Assist in all monthly and yearly accounting closing activities
Filing all necessary accounting documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Provides a full support of Align Turkey financial and accounting activities
Collaboration with Shared Services center / Regional Accounting team related to necessary accounting postings
Assist in the preparation of tax declarations and government-related forms in timely manner (VAT1, VAT2, Stamp Duty, Recycling Tax, Withholding Tax Return, SSI, Provisional Tax Return, CIT, Turkish Statistical Institute etc.)
E-Invoice, E-Archive, E-Ledger practices
What we're looking for
New graduate or currently studying in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Process oriented mindset: defining end-to-end processes, process optimization
Ability to manage flexible workload
Intermediate English proficiency, sufficient for business communication and task completion.
