Accounting and Finance Manager (Çayırova/Kocaeli)

We are looking for an "Accounting and Finance Manager" position for our business partner, a Japan-based agricultural and construction machinery manufacturer.

Our business partner, a Japan-based manufacturer of agricultural and construction machinery, imports the machines they produce abroad to Turkey.

Description

• Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings of the company
• Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance of internal policies,
• Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Assist with financial statement audit - prepare schedules, compile support for audit selections and other audit related activities
• Manage Accounting team to process all the accounting activities
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Profile

• University degree any related departments (economics, finance etc)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge and experience in financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Experience with the administrative requirements and procedures with VAT exemption certificates
• Knowledge of SAP (FI & CO modules) is a must,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong ability to work both independently and in an international team environment
• Ability of multiple tasks and consistently meeting deadlines
• Flexibility and social competence are highly required
• CPA/SMMM degree is mandatory,
