Job Title


Accessibility Program Manager

Amadeus is committed to place accessibility at the heart of the company leveraging both its technology and its people, to promote a more accessible travel. In 2025 Amadeus launched its new accessibility ambition as part of its Sustainability strategy with the objective of becoming an accessible company and a catalyst for accessible travel.



The Accessibility Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring the consistent development and execution of Amadeus' accessibility  strategy and plan across the organization. S/he will work closely with Amadeus' accessibility network to ensure progress and alignment, and will play a critical role in leading and driving transversal programs, like the Digital Accessibility Program.


The objective of this program is to implement digital accessibility by design in all Amadeus new solutions and ensure that our existing solutions comply with accessibility regulation. S/he will have to build internal and external relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the program. 



S/he will be a member of the Accessibility team within the Sustainability team, working across the Amadeus organization, specially with UXI and Sustainability Solutions teams, to drive progress towards Amadeus' accessibility ambition


Develop and implement Amadeus' accessibility ambition


  • Develop and implement Amadeus accessibility strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with the Amadeus' sustainability goals and business objectives. Develop and manage policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report its progress and impact generation. Regularly assess the effectiveness of the accessibility strategy, identify opportunities for innovation, and make adjustments as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Identify potential risks to the accessibility strategy and develop mitigation plans to address them. Ensure that Amadeus accessibility strategy is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Stay updated on the latest accessibility guidelines and best practices.
  • Serve as advocate for accessibility within and outside the organization, promoting the importance of accessibility and its benefits to all stakeholders. Engage with Amadeus leadership to drive progress and alignment with business goals. Participate as Amadeus spokesperson in events.
  • Foster strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, like accessibility action owners, to ensure progress and alignment on the accessibility plan. Coordinate with various departments to ensure the successful delivery of accessibility initiatives. Develop and implement mechanisms for gathering feedback from both internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve accessibility efforts.


Coordinate Amadeus Digital Accessibility program 


  • Develop program strategy and plan to achieve Amadeus digital accessibility goals, in collaboration with Amadeus UXI team
  • Coordinate program implementation, overseeing initiatives within the program and ensuring they align with the overall program objectives 
  • Monitor performance, tracking program progress, performance metrics, and outcomes to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope, and identifying areas for improvement. Managing changes to the program scope, schedule, and resources, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Manage resources, including budget, personnel, and external providers, to ensure successful program execution.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates, and addressing any concerns or issues. Forster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting program status, achievements, and challenges.

Lead the compliance pillar of Amadeus Digital Accessibility program


  • Define and implement Amadeus accessibility compliance strategy and plan for existing solutions.
  • Define the audit framework and coordinate auditing plan implementation
  • Design and coordinate implementation of internal training and awareness
  • Build and coordinate accessibility champions network
     

Ideal candidate


- demonstrated experience of project management at large scale


- communication skills, coordination skills and ability to set a vision


- abilities to drive a project and push to make things done


- experience of Digital accessibility would be a plus, but is not a must-have for the role
