We have an opportunity for an Sr Procurement Buyer to join us at Honeywell in NABEUL, TUN. To be successful in this role, you need to have at least 5 years of experience within procurement & buying, extensive experience using SAP, Excel and excellent English and French communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing execution - Tactical creation of purchase orders based on planner’s demand forecast and requisitions.
• Places purchase orders with approved suppliers per appropriate agreements.
• Invoice discrepancies - Immediately resolves all issues relating to invoices on hold.
• Prepares and Handle Negotiations with Suppliers
  suppliers and/or commodities not currently covered under existing agreements.
• Manages purchasing system alerts (e.g., invoice, quantity, etc.).
• Identify cost reduction opportunities
• Work on the improvement of the supplier Performance and Other KPY’s ( OTTR, PO Health …..)
• Acts as liaison between factory operations, suppliers, and Strategic sourcing organization.
• Submits and continually updates forecasts provided by production planners.
• Processes Engineering Change Requests.
• Complies with all approved sourcing processes and policies.
• Works with the Regional Purchasing Manager to drive continuous improvement activities and best practices across the tactical team to achieve daily efficiency improvements and achieving ISC metrics.
• Stays up to date in systems and technology capabilities and support the deployment of system improvements.
• Supports NPI initiatives in collaboration with engineering and sourcing.
• Prepares some Procurement Reports
• Leads some Procurement Projects
• Understand market trends
• Handles the training of new buyers coming to the team

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience within procurement & buying. At least 5 years’ experience
• Extensive experience using SAP, and Excel
• Excellent English and French communication skills
• Understanding of product life cycle
• Understanding of industrial, or manufacturing industry segments

• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team player
• Good organizational - ability to prioritize and do problem solving
• Preferably within a similar manufacturing, and or industrial
• Knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products and industries
