Software Engineer I

Advanced knowledge in relational databases.
Advanced knowledge in C# and REST APIs.
Excellent knowledge of GIT and source control.
Excellent understanding of the Visual Studio IDE.
Knowledge of Internet Information Services and its related products.
Knowledge of GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, YAML and PowerShell.
Knowledge of basic security standards in handling confidential information.
Knowledge and ability to use a strongly typed object-orientated approach where possible.
Write well commented code and document all applications via Confluence Articles.
Write scalable, easy to understand code.
Support existing code base and applications.
Work within project plans as defined by the Product Owner, using our Agile Methodology.
Remain up to date with modern web and security standards.
Capable of peer reviewing code on an ‘as-assigned’ basis.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PHP, CSS, JQuery and HTML (utilizing the Bootstrap framework).
Knowledge of VS Code IDE.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
3 years of Programming/Development experience.
Ability to react quickly in an ever-changing environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
High desire to learn and develop self.
