We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Rental Team within the Carsharing Tribe.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems to support innovative telematics solutions. You will work with a modern tech stack including Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes, and RabbitMQ, ensuring high performance and seamless integration within the carsharing ecosystem.

Your next missions :
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot for telematics services. Build and optimize cloud-based architectures with AWS for high availability and performance. Implement microservices and containerization with Kubernetes to support distributed systems and CI/CD. Develop efficient data flows using RabbitMQ for event-driven communication. Work on real-time data processing for vehicle tracking, rental state management, and fraud detection. Collaborate closely with mobile developers, and product managers to integrate backend services into the carsharing platform. Ensure code quality by writing clean, testable, and maintainable code. Contribute to system design discussions focusing on scalability, security, and high availability. Mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high system uptime.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on microservices and cloud-based solutions. Strong expertise in Kotlin and/or Java with frameworks like Spring Boot. Experience with AWS cloud services and CI/CD systems like GitLab. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging systems. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable systems. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed team.
