About this opportunity
Crown has now an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us as a
Senior Accountant. The role reports to the Finance Manager and is based on-site, at our manufacturing plant in Tunis (Tunisia). Main Responsibilities
• Responsible for timely recording and processing of all vendor invoices.
• Maintain vendor reconciliations and Statement of Accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and 3-Way match for invoice processing.
• Responsible for accruals and prepayments recording and maintaining the related reconciliations.
• Ensure GRNI accounts are reconciled and timely cleared.
• Support finance team in month end closing activities.
• Responsible for Inter-Company transactions and reconciliations.
• Responsible for preparations of documentation required for (Direction des Gandes Entreprises) DGE approvals for payments & ensure timely follow up.
• Responsible for Fixed Asset Register maintenance relating to depreciation run, assets capitalization and disposals.
• Monthly preparation of evidence for SOX and Balance Sheet reviews for areas under responsibility.
• Prepare rolling Payment forecasts and provide continuous feedback if any vendor payment expected to be delayed.
• Responsible for ensuring all Supply Chain Finance (SCF) program invoices are timely recorded and settled.
• For Aluminium and Ends, monitor the pricing basis used and if it is in line with PO and delivery time.
About You
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
• Proven significant experience as an Accountant or similar role in a Production/Manufacturing environment
• Extensive knowledge and work experience of accounting standards
• Working knowledge of financial software (SAP) and MS Office
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A problem-solver with attention to detail
• Languages: Arabic, English, French
