The Regional Production Project Manager will oversee and manage the execution of production projects in coordination with key technical leaders and departments.
This role involves responsibility for resource, cost, and schedule planning, as well as ensuring that the project is delivered within budget and on time. Key responsibilities include risk analysis, process optimization, stakeholder communication, and supporting bids for new projects.
Your Responsibilities:
Project Management: + Develop and monitor project plans including resource allocation, schedule, and cost planning.
+ Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions when deviations occur.
Risk Management: + Cooperate in risk analysis and introduce mitigation measures as needed.
Team & Organization Management: + Propose project organization, select team members, and define tasks, roles, and interfaces.
Budget Compliance: + Ensure adherence to the allocated project budget and reallocate resources as necessary.
+ Take corrective actions if cost overruns occur.
Stakeholder Coordination: + Act as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and sub-project leaders.
Performance Tracking: + Ensure all production-relevant project goals are met.
+ Analyze changes in scope, cooperate in negotiations, and implement changes.
Documentation & Reporting: + Create and review project reports, presentations, and project conclusion documentation.
Technical Leadership: + Provide guidance and leadership to project associates and sub-project leaders.
Process Improvement: + Contribute to the optimization of processes, systems, and methodologies, including conducting lessons learned reviews.
Bid Support: + Assist in creating bids, ensuring production costs align with project goals, and providing alternatives where necessary.
Business Planning: + Oversee the creation of business plans for projects, including space, workforce, and equipment planning.
Production Oversight: + Take ownership of part production from the order receipt to three months post Start of Production (SOP) for each derivative.
+ Manage process and plant planning, including material flow and layout.
+ Supervise procurement of production lines, equipment, and tools.
Your Profile:
Engineer degree in Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly in areas like production, maintenance, project management, or industrial engineering. Proficiency in production planning is required. Fluent in English; proficiency in German is considered a plus.
