- Indirect to the BI Solutions Architect (technical lead)

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Business Intelligence Developer to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in our dynamic, fast paced, global organization.
What you will do:
- Provide Logistics and procurement departments with ongoing data/reporting needs (ad-hoc Excel, RepoMan, SSRS, Looker, subscriptions), with an aim to optimize operational business performance.
- Support the above departments with data reporting & analytics from different areas and segments within the Logistics & Procurement
- Liaise with other related departments (Finance, Manufacturing, etc.) to ensure all business processes between departments are running smooth and are continuously improved.
- Ensure that all reports between the Supply Chain and Financial teams’ match.
- Guide and assist the wider development team in leveraging best practices and delivering reusable and scalable strategic components.
- Liaise with both technical and business colleagues located locally and in our international offices.
- Assist developing the documentation of current and future processes, procedures, and development tasks.
- Responsible for the data accuracy that is provided to the different businesses.
What we need from you:
Required:
- Background in providing support to Logistics and procurement areas, coupled with a strong interest and understanding of data retrieval and presentation.
- 3 years+ experience is required
- Certification or 3+ years’ experience with Snowflake, MS SQL Server or similar technologies Level 3 or proven Expert knowledge of MS Excel
- Be comfortable working on their own, whilst also as part of a larger group to deliver best in business intelligence solutions.
- A passion for making high quality, innovative reporting solutions.
- A strong desire to continuously develop and upgrade the technological skillset.
- A team player with strong analytic, communication & stakeholder relationship management skills
- Ability to communicate findings, orally and visually, to a variety of audiences.
Advantage:
- Experience working with MS TFS or similar source control applications.
- Experience in project management.
Databases:
- Oracle – understanding what this is.
- Snowflake – understanding what this is + experience preferred.
- SQL Server – understanding what this is + experience required
- Looker, Looker Studio – understanding what this is + experience preferred.
Reporting technologies:
SSRS – understanding what this is + experience preferred.
ETL:
SSIS, AWS S3 buckets – understanding what this is + experience preferred.
Workload management:
Jira, Asana, etc. – understanding what this is + experience preferred.
