General Manager



FMC Human Resources is looking for a Dubai-based General Manager for the subsidiary of our Denmark-headquartered client DEIF, which provides cutting-edge solutions for controlling and protecting power generation systems. The position will have overall responsibility for the management and development of the DEIF Middle East FZE and is expected to define and execute strategies aligned with division strategy, building a strong management team within the subsidiary.
DEIF employs more than 500 people worldwide, and the subsidiary has a team of 10 people. The position will be reporting to the Regional Manager located in India. The region under the responsibility of DEIF Middle East FZE covers the GCC, Pakistan and Anglophone Africa. Key Responsibilities



Lead and develop sales managers, technical managers and key employees Lead and develop the subsidiary and a global network within your area of responsibility and ensure development of present and future capabilities Define, communicate and execute strategies for the subsidiary aligned with the division strategy, contribute to and communicate the group strategy Collaborate across the organisation to obtain common goals (short and long-term) Secure quality and professionalism of the agreed deliverables within the subsidiary Secure compliance and act as a role model for the company values, Code of Conduct, and Group Policies Decide for the budget of the subsidiary within the agreed frame Define clear goals/KPI’s and follow up regularly Represent DEIF and brand the company towards stakeholders

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



University degree in engineering 5-8 years of management experience preferably in a similar industry Experience in leading a sales team as well as in managing a dealer network / channel management Experience in change management and –processes Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus Business acumen, ability to manage complexity, strategic mind-set Action-oriented, collaborative, and resilient
