Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
The E&I Operator Level 1 will perform a variety of duties such as repair, and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of electrical & control systems, equipment, and components including, but not limited to: transformers, switchgear, VFD, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Tubing lines, high and low voltage motors, and panel wiring.
Install, troubleshoots and performs preventative or scheduled maintenance for all electrical and control systems.
The E&I Operator Level 1 shall report to Maintenance Supervisor
You will have a rotation shift of 14/14.
Responsibilities & tasks:
Support “Goal Zero” safety and environmental culture through:+ Demonstration of excellent personal safety
+ Compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and practices
+ Intervention in the event of a potential issue or unsafe behavior is observed
Fully proficient individual contributor. Report immediately any identified unsafe acts or conditions using the company's procedures, e.g., Near Miss Report, Unsafe Condition Report, etc. Reports to on-shift Maintenance Supervisor / Field Manager Examining and maintaining electrical and control systems systems and equipment. Repairing electrical & Instrument equipment and replacing malfunctioning components. Assembling new electrical & Instrument components Using hand tools for fixing wires & Tubes. Interpreting electrical circuit & Hoock-up diagrams. Analyzing unused electrical equipment and discarding the old ones Reviewing and defining the need for electrical compounds stock replenishment in coordination with maintenance supervisor. Contribute to the Installation, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment such as control systems, sensors, and wiring. Contribute to Testing and calibrate instruments to ensure they are accurate and function correctly. Diagnose and fix issues with electrical and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and ensure safety. Maintain & Repair Process Control valves. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed on equipment Adhering to the safety protocols while performing daily operations Testing newly installed electrical equipment Perform Functional tests on Pneumatic, Hydraulic Panel Perform cable pulling, tubing works (day to day job) Ensure that electrical inspection is validated with 3rd party for all facilities Perform check, repair on Earthing system grid Check, inspect Cathodic protection rectifier and system Perform electrical inspection and checks on HVAC system Undertaking regular maintenance checks and inspections Any other tasks or duties as required/assigned by Maintenance Supervisor to meet business needs within maintenance scope. Prepare daily maintenance reports and be capable of reporting to the Maintenance supervisor. Qualifications
Minimum level Technician Diploma (BAC+3) in Electrical discipline or a related field. At least 2 years' experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry. Excellent problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Good physical condition (required for performing physical tasks onsite). Ability to work on day and night shifts. Ability to work in a company’s different locations. Languages: Arabic, English, French.
