We are currently looking for dynamic, and self motivated Recreation professionals who want to move their careers forward.
As a Lifeguard you are responsible to monitor activities in the swimming area to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers, whereby your role will include key responsibilities as:
• Ensure the swimming pool is clean
• Ensure the sun loungers are clean, in the correct position and in working order
• Monitor swimming pool activity
• Assist anybody who is in difficulty in and around the pool area
• Check the temperature of the pool to ensure they are at set standard
• Ensure the pool deck is always clean of any debris during the operation
• Ensure that the pool deck is swept and watered down, and that all furniture is in correct place during morning set up
• Ensure that the umbrellas are fixed properly to their units and tidied down when not in use
• Assist in First Aid
• Clear all dirty towels and hand them to reception for laundry
• To conduct swimming lessons if required.
• Report any Guest’s feedback, comments or complaints to your Department Head immediately.
• To know the rules and regulations of the club and how to deal with Guest applications on memberships.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
