Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Under direct supervision of the HR Supervisor, support the HR Department for Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling (“SANAD” or the “Organization” hereof) in various workforce planning activities and tasks to be carried out in
accordance to SANAD’s HR policies and procedures.
ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Organize manpower requirements and planning for non-Saudi Field employees, Senior Saudi Field and Field Support Crew with Department Heads and teams
across SANAD to ensure balancing staffing levels with the volume of work being
produced.
Handle manpower shortages at rigs by coordinating replacements to minimize business disruptions.
Coordinate the scheduling of certified medics on all rigs. Collect organizational/ Department manpower data inputs to generate reports on work volume and projected staffing needs.
Interpret data to improve business operations, including how to optimize work schedules, identify critical positions, when to reassign workers and pinpoint jobs
that have become obsolete.
Assist in analysing short-term staffing needs, usually for the upcoming year based on the number and type of skilled workers SANAD needs and how much
it will cost to hire them.
Identify and recommend improvement around the scheduling processes, streamlining this to create the most efficient and effective processes that are fit
for purpose.
Provide assistance to SANAD’s other business units on issues pertinent to job function; participate in performing routine checks and inspections to ensure the
highest safety and quality standards are being maintained if required.
Take care of health, safety and environmental impact both personally, and for others who may be affected in the workplace. Cooperate with the Company and
co-workers to help everyone meet their legal and company requirements.
Adapt to, and participate in, any programs/changes in SANAD including but not limited to strategic initiatives, operational initiatives and performance uplift tasks;
conduct any relevant work that may result from these changes as an integral
part of this job description and employment contract.
Help support the organization in extraordinary events such as claims by contractors, dispute reviews and participation in arbitration.
Perform any other activity as required by the company both at the company premises and remotely when requested by the company.
Proactively seek out information that is relevant to job role whether internally or externally to efficiently and effectively deliver. Remain up to date with context of the Company and the role within it to provide insight on potential opportunities and/or challenges. Contribute to the execution and delivery of any activities as and when required to ensure the continuity of work in the absence of other colleagues.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge and Experience: A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience. Education and Certifications: Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
