VP of Enterprise Risk Management

In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing Enterprise Risk Management activities, in order to ensure and deliver on the section’s mandate and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.
You will be responsible
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Governance & Compliance departments, ensuring alignment with STA goals and objectives.
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework that integrates risk management, business continuity, and governance & compliance practices across the STA.
Oversee the identification, assessment, and prioritization of enterprise-wide risks, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensuring effective risk response and control activities.
Establishing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of ethical behaviour and accountability within the organization.
Act as the primary liaison for risk management, business continuity, and governance & compliance matters, regularly reporting to the executive team and the board of directors on risk exposures, mitigation strategies, and compliance status.
Provide leadership during crises, coordinating cross-departmental efforts to manage and reduce the impact of disruptions, ensuring timely recovery and continuity of operations.
Perform other activities as and when required.
You will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management is preferred
At least 17 years of experience in relevant field
