الوصف الوظيفي

The Van Salesman role is a dynamic position within the retail and wholesale industry, specifically designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position involves direct interaction with customers, showcasing products, and driving sales through effective communication and relationship-building. The Van Salesman will be responsible for managing a mobile inventory, ensuring that products are delivered efficiently to various locations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for those who possess a passion for sales and enjoy working independently while being part of a larger team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive a company van to various locations to sell products directly to customers.
  2. Manage inventory levels in the van and ensure products are stocked appropriately.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while seeking new sales opportunities.
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information to customers.
  5. Process sales transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
  8. Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies.
  9. Prepare daily sales reports and submit them to management.
  10. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the van and sales materials.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  4. Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on building relationships.
  5. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  6. Ability to lift and carry heavy products as needed.
  7. Familiarity with sales software and inventory management systems.
  8. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations.
  10. Willingness to travel within the designated sales area.
