The Training Director is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the strategic goals of clients across various industries. This leadership role involves overseeing a team of consultants, engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring that all training initiatives align with best practices, innovation, and industry trends.


The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in the training and development field, with proven success in leading high-impact programs, driving organizational growth through learning, and managing cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Training Leadership:


    • Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy that aligns with the client’s organizational goals and business objectives.
    • Oversee the assessment of training needs and ensure the creation of targeted training solutions for clients.
    • Partner with senior leadership to ensure training programs align with the strategic vision of both the firm and its clients.
  • Program Design & Implementation:


    • Lead the design and customization of training programs, workshops, and learning interventions to address skills gaps, enhance workforce performance, and drive organizational growth.
    • Ensure training solutions are innovative and leverage the latest learning technologies and methodologies (e-learning, virtual training, blended learning, etc.).
  • Consultation & Client Engagement:


    • Collaborate with client leadership teams to understand their specific training requirements, performance challenges, and culture, providing tailored consultancy services.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client engagements, providing expert advice on training and development strategies.
    • Conduct thorough evaluations of client training needs and present solutions that improve employee capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Team Leadership & Development:


    • Manage and mentor a team of training consultants, providing guidance on program development, delivery, and evaluation.
    • Build a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
    • Ensure high-quality execution and delivery of training programs through effective project management and team coordination.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:


    • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Track and report on training outcomes, participant feedback, and ROI to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Innovation & Best Practices:


    • Stay current with industry trends, new learning technologies, and methodologies to continuously innovate and improve the training services offered.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key industry experts and thought leaders to ensure the adoption of best practices in training.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in training, learning and development, or organizational development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or consultancy role.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale training programs across multiple sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high performance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in leveraging digital and blended learning solutions.
  • Experience with project management and training evaluation methodologies.
  • Certifications in training (CIPD, ATD, or similar) preferred.
